Autumn Sunset Color Palette - Warm and Cozy Fall Vibes

The Autumn Sunset Color Palette combines an earthy brown with warm sunset-inspired colors: orange, red and a red-based violet. This palette evokes the feeling of a cozy autumn evening, with the fading warmth of the sun blending with the rich browns of tree bark and bare branches.

These colors work well together because orange, red and violet are analogous colors (next to each other on the color wheel in color theory), and brown is essentially just a very dark shade of orange. All the colors have a warm undertone. The brown "grounds" the palette, muting the high-energy emitted by the red and orange.

The ideal palette has 4-5 colors. Depending on the design, I may add colors that are on either end of the sunset ombre: gold and/or blue-based purple (shown at the far left and far right of the "extras" swatches in the graphics). Those colors can be helpful to highlight certain structural elements of a weave, or simply to help coordinate with a favorite outfit. The blue-based purple is the only cool color in the entire palette, so it really stands out and provides added visual interest.

• Autumn Sunset =  Sunset Palette (orange, red, violet) + brown
• This palette is similar to the Autumn Leaves palette, which uses gold instead of violet
• Some earlier designs use the name “Sedona Sunset” for this palette, but they are one and the same.
